Anglia Dolls Houses is a craft business run by Tim Hartnall and his wife Angela. We specialise in the creation of hand built, fully decorated, birch plywood 1/12th scale Georgian Dolls Houses for the discerning adult enthusiast1.Georgian dolls houses remain a popular choice for the collector and we aim to build high quality dolls houses, with elegant proportions, that convey a true sense of the period. Our 'standard' designs range from early Georgian style through to Regency dollshouses. We also welcome bespoke commissions from any period.

Our grand new 25 room Regency dolls house will be on display on 12th/13th May 2017 at the Kensington Dollshouse Festival.
Buying an Anglia Dolls House is a special experience: whether you choose one of our standard designs or opt for an entirely bespoke commission your choice of colours and options will make your dolls house unique to you. Many of our dolls houses are purchased as a special anniversary, birthday or retirement present. If you do have a specific date in mind it is worth contacting us early since we usually have a wailting list. When we start building your house we will email you weekly progress pictures of so that you can see your dolls house taking shape; it certainly adds to the excitement as delivery day approaches!

Architecturally consistent - there are stairs between floors in realistic locations; chimney breasts align with chimney stacks and have a pot for each flue; rooms are proportioned according to purpose; etc.

Collectors' Upgrades are a range of additional cost options available as a way of further enhancing our standard packages. These include hand marbled staircases, window seats, recessed alcoves and a library.

Bespoke dolls houses
We are always pleased to hear from customers who want a completely bespoke dolls house designed and built ("custom doll house" in the US) as these are usually challenging and enjoyable to design and execute. We have built dolls houses inspired by real properties from a variety of periods.

All our dolls houses are hand built to to order. We usually have a waiting list which can typically be between 12 and 18 months. Prices for our standard Georgian Dolls Houses are shown on the Prices page.
A deposit is required on all orders: our standard dolls houses can take us anything from 4 to 12 weeks to execute depending on the model chosen and its specification. Bespoke orders can take much longer to implement. Please call to discuss your requirements for bespoke projects .
